Community Grant Scheme

Cheshire East is making £200,00 available in the form of grants to support projects which will improve the quality of life for local communities.

The Council wants to support "the continuation of community activity and the formation of new community groups to support the needs of local communities".

Examples of suitable applications are:

• Equipment, materials or specialist kit to help the organisation develop
• Volunteer training courses such as food hygiene
• Specialist coaching or teaching sessions from outside organisations
• Contributions towards running costs, excluding salaries, for organisations that have been established for less than 6 months only
• Publicity / advertising / promotions / establishing a new website

Each application can apply for funds up to £5,000.

Closing dates for grant applications are the last Friday of March, June, September and December. The remaining deadline dates for 2018 are 28th September and 28th December.
