The Community Action Meeting will take place tonight at 7.00pm at St James' Primary School. It's an opportunity to discuss local issues and the meeting will also include a presentation by Anna Collins on the Smart Water security system. There is also a police surgery after the meeting for 30 minutes to discuss individual concerns with the police.

Cheshire Police held a meeting with a cross-section of Audlem residents recently to see how attendance at these meetings can be increased. From the recent Police Perception survey that many in Audlem completed, it's very clear that there are concerns about a wide range of issues. It's hoped, therefore, there will be a good turn-out to a meeting that's designed to raise these as well as an opportunity to vote on the top priority for the next nine weeks. It's also an opportunity to meet your local PC and Community Support Officers as well as talk to your local councillors.

Given the recent concerns about the emergency services (see today's report on the Fire Service and yesterday's on the Ambulance Service), the Community Action Meeting is an ideal opportunity to raise any concerns.
