Coffee Lounge opening today at 2.00pm

Don't forget that Audlem's latest new business will be opening today (Saturday) and everyone will be warmly welcomed to sample the goods on offer. The Coffee Lounge, next to the Salad Bowl, is being officially opened at 2.00pm when there's a chance to look around and sample from the menu during the afternoon and early evening.

The opening is also providing an opportunity to raise money for a very good cause. Vernon and Debbie are not charging for drinks etc at the opening event but you can, if you wish, make a donation to Christies to help with Cancer care.

The Coffee Lounge is very smartly furnished and is in two rooms alongside the existing shop, one looking out on the village centre, the other on to the rear garden. The shop will feature hand-made cakes, sandwiches, quiches, home-made soup, home-made clotted cream scones and a full range of coffees and teas.

Vernon and Debbie Miles took over the Salad Bowl in December last year and were soon planning to have the new business alongside the existing fruit, vegetable and bakery shop and delicatessen. The Coffee Lounge will be a very welcome new addition to Audlem's range of businesses.
