No, it's not a return to that famous 'Use your seat belt' campaign of yesteryear. It is, however, the endlessly repetitive sound of traffic passing through Audlem on Shropshire Street as every vehicle drives over the loose manhole cover outside the Muller Development. Clunk, Click – Every Trip!

This manhole is just one part of the appalling road surface that's resulted from the construction work on Moseley's Yard. The monotonous clunk, click as each car passes could well put an observant potential purchaser off buying one of the new properties. At the very least, it will result in residents being subjected to a new form of mental torture as they try to sleep. Perhaps Muller's, or those involved in selling the properties, will see they have an interest in resurfacing the road they dug up. And ideally before the new double yellow lines are painted!
