Cider equipment needed

My girlfriend and I have just bought a house in the area, and are looking forward to moving in soon.

With our new property, we have acquired an orchard which is bulging with nearly ripe apples – and we are going to utilise the bulk of these apples to make some homemade cider (and Perry from the pears..!)

Do any local residents have a fruit press / scratter that we might be able to borrow or rent for a few days? In a lot of country areas, these pieces of expensive equipment are often shared in a form of co-operative, so I was wondering if such an arrangement may already be in place.

I'd also be keen to know if anybody has any excessive apples that they might like us to take away in exchange for some free cider – when it's ready!!

Please contact Andy on 123awc@gmail.com">123awc@gmail.com if you can help.
