Over the past three days we have featured the amazing choice of ales. wheat beers and stouts on sale in the village's three pubs at this weekend's Audlem Beer Festival.


There's a great choice of Cider and Perry too. Thirst quenching and traditionally made, there's much to interest any cider enthusiast. And it's not just apples and pears that get in on the act – cherries, passionfruit and raspberries make an appearance:-       


Glastonbury Cider (4.2% ABV): A traditional cider made with ripe summer berries giving a medium taste and blush appearance. It's at the Lord Combermere   


Gwynt Y Ddraig Black Dragon (7.2% ABV): Matured in oak barrels to produce a cider rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh fruity aroma. At the Lord Combermere   


Gwynt Y Ddraig Two Trees Perry (4.5% ABV): A pale, fruity perry with an aroma of fruit and a hint of honey on the palate. At the Lord Combermere   


Gwynt Y Ddraig Pyder (6.0% ABV): An out of the ordinary blend of apple and pear juice fermented and matured in wood. At the Lord Combermere   


Hecks Port Wine of Glastonbury SV Cider (6.5% ABV): Traditionally made medium sweet somerset craft cider made from a single variety and matured in port barrels where it develops its blush appearance. At the Lord Combermere     


Millwhites Whiskey Cask Matured Cider (7.5% ABV): A medium/dry cider aged in Sottish whisky barrels. A smooth cider with a subtle spirit finish. At the Lord Combermere   


Mr Whiteheads Cirrus Minor (5.0% ABV): A light summer cider made from a varying blend of apples with a lower sugar content, including Royal Gala, Braeburn, Spartan and Lord Lambourne. Awarded 1st place cider at Wallington Beer Festival 2007. It's at the Shroppie Fly   


Mr Whiteheads Boxing Dog (7.5% ABV): A strong cider made from apples with a high sugar content, including Worcester and Cox, coming in at an impressive 7.5% ABV. At the Shroppie Fly   


Premium Drinks Cherry Perry (7.5% ABV): A delicious blend of ripe pears with a hint of dark Morello cherries. Medium sweet with a very easy drinking style, light pink in appearance. At the Lord Combermere   


Premium Drinks Passionfruit Perry (7.5% ABV): A delicious blend of ripe pears with a hint of succulent Passion Fruit. Sweet with a very easy drinking style, light golden in appearance. At the Lord Combermere   


Premium Drinks Raspberry Cider (7.5% ABV): A glorious fusion of sharp cider apples and ripe raspberries. Medium with a light pink appearance. At the Lord Combermere     


Thatchers Cheddar Valley (6.0% ABV): The colour of this unique cider gives it a vibrant character all of its own for those who want an alternative refreshing drink with a touch of natural sparkle. Naturally fermented, Cheddar Valley is matured in oak vats to ensure the distinctive full flavour is retained. At the Bridge Inn   


Westons Old Rosie (7.3% ABV): Award winning Old Rosie Scrumpy is allowed to settle out naturally after fermentation resulting in a truly old fashioned, full flavoured, appley, cloudy scrumpy; with a well balanced medium dry character. Suitable for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. At the Lord Combermere   


Woodthorpe Hall Owd Barker Dry Cider (10.5% ABV): A real treat and a great rarety! Glorious quality cider made using traditional methods in Derbyshire. A light golden appearance with a strong dry apple aroma and finish. A must try for craft cider enthusiasts. At the Lord Combermere
