Cheshire Street closed

Cheshire Street has been closed since early this morning while United Utilities mend a water pipe break which has recently been the cause of large pools of water in Cheshire Street, between the Lord Combermere and the main Car Park. .

At the moment (11.30am) there is a large hole in the road, and the repair will obviously take a little while.

All the businesses affected are open as usual, and you can get into and out of the main Car Park, but only from the North (i.e. Nantwich) side..
