We open our autumn series of talks with a subject that is rich in history. Well-known local speaker, Tony Bostock, will introduce us to the story behind some of the more unusual pubs and their names and remind us of many which, sadly, are now history.

As ever, all are welcome. If you haven't attended our meetings previously, please come along as a visitor, without obligation. You'll find an informal, relaxed atmosphere and we hope you'll enjoy an interesting and informative evening.

Meetings take place in the Scout and Guide Hall in Cheshire Street and start at 7.30pm.
