Cheshire or Shropshire?

George Beaman has contacted Audlem Online with an interesting question that is now a new 'Forum' subject to debate. It might produce some interesting thoughts!

"In the thread about the recent television programme Roland Hall asks whether Audlem might be better off in Shropshire and this is a question which deserves its own heading. I feel more at home shopping in Drayton than Nantwich. Nantwich is for tourists, Drayton is for local people. If we were in Shropshire the bus service to Drayton might be restored. Also we pay Council Tax to Crewe but very little of that money comes back to Audlem. I have felt for a long time that we would be better of in Shropshire. Boundary changes do take place so it is possible."
