Cheshire East Council Budget Prioritisation Survey 2026/27
Purpose of this survey
We make a choice on how we spend every 1p. By law, we must make those choices within a balanced budget.
Bins, roads, and parks matter – but they cost a fraction of your council tax.
- Waste and cleaning: 10p
- Roads and transport: 5p
- Parks and libraries: 2p
- Most of your money (nearly 70p) goes where it’s needed most: care for vulnerable people.
It’s about protecting those who need us most.
Do you think this balance feels right? Have your say: https://surveys.cheshireeast.gov.uk/.../Budget...
If you have any questions or concerns about this survey, or if you wish to submit your response in a different way, email ceconsultation@cheshireeast.gov.uk or call 0300 123 55 00.
Please complete it by 30 October 2025.
