Yesterday's story of another serious wait for an ambulance, and indeed the NWAS' reply yesterday afternoon, has attracted a number of Chatbox comments.

Nigel Young says: "Oh come on NWAS have the backbone to put your hand up and say "Sorry we let you down"; at least that way we would have more confidence in anything you say."

GB adds: "Another Ambulance failure" and from the last paragraph of your report, another reason why we should try to be in Shropshire. When will the local establishment get the message?"

On a different news story, Audlem Online thanks Dunno for an extremely witty suggestion on the comparitive responsibility of a Licensed Reader and a Lay Reader – see Tuesday's story.

The editor may not be religious but fears publishing it may cause an unnecessary risk of Divine retribution, however humorous the quip. We leave the quip to your imagination!
