Charity Fancy Dress Party

There is to be a fancy dress party on Saturday 16th August to raise funds for local resident Chrissie's breast cancer charity.

As readers may remember we held one two years ago and raised around £2,500 on the night.

This time Marstons have agreed to match whatever we raise on the night so hopefully we could be looking at another amazing amount of who knows what.

There will be entertainment at all three pubs, a raffle and auction, this time held at the Bridge Inn.

So far we have had pledges of prizes and auction lots but I will let everyone know more details as soon as I have them.

In the meantime, put the date in your diaries and start thinking about that fancy dress.
