Charities coming together for Britain in Bloom
As you may have heard (several times), Audlem In Bloom has been entered into the RHS Nationals this year -- for the first time ever. Thrilled, oh, we so are. But that is on 01 Aug; before that, we have the North West in Bloom judging (so much judging!) on Thursday, 13 July.
Email from Eddie Rowley for the fantastic work they have done in support of the judging:-
Hi ADAS,
Just to let everyone know that the Audlem Charity Shop has done its bit for the Village in Bloom Competitionby completing a comprehensive tidy up of the land surrounding and adjacent to the shop.
The immediate area has been weeded and the grassed areas have been completely strimmed.
I attach photos of the completed project.
We have also removed all the old planters and purchased new ones which have been planted up with bedding plants.
Many thanks to the Audlem Cemetery for the loan of the heavy duty strimmer.
The area has been transformed by our energetic volunteers.
