Changes to COVID on AoL

We are very lucky to have had the services of Mike Mason throughout the last twelve months, providing daily statistics on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since March 13th is the Anniversary of the first confirmed case of COVID-19 in Cheshire East, this seems a good point to recognise a new phase in the pandemic, hopefully returning gradually back to whatever will be classed as "normal" in the post-COVID world.

So from tomorrow the COVID-19 page on AudlemOnline will no longer show the numbers and graphs that Mike has painstakingly extracted each day from the government statistics. Instead it will contain links to the source of that information, if you want to watch the progress of the numbers, plus some other links to key sites containing information about the pandemic.

It just remains for the webteam to say a big thank you to Mike for all his efforts over the last twelve months – a year to remember for all of us.
