Chair lift for Public Hall approved

Back in December Audlem Online reported that Audlem Public Hall's committee had applied for a grant towards the cost of installing a stair lift and that we would keep you up to date with the progress of the application.
We are pleased to report that at last Wednesday's meeting the committee heard that the application has been successful and that the National Lottery Fund had approved a sum of £4,830.

The stair lift will enable both disabled people and those who have difficulty in climbing the stairs to gain access to the snooker and committee rooms. It is hoped that it will be installed soon.
