CE Supported Bus Review – Information Meeting

As reported on AudlemOnline earlier this month, a review is underway of Cheshire East council Supported Bus Services. The review is being opposed by a number of town councils in the borough as there are concerns that many of the much needed rural services are in danger of being cut.

A meeting is being held in Nantwich Civic Hall on 19th June from 2-7pm during which staff will be on hand to provide information and answer questions regarding the proposed cuts.

Residents are urged to put forward their views on the proposed cuts by completing an online questionnaire which you can access here.

An information booklet is available from Cheshire East on their website whilst printed copies – which also includes a printed copy of the questionnaire – can be collected from Nantwich Library.

The closing date for comments on the proposed cuts is Thursday 26th July 2017.
