Cheshire East Council to maintain essential services on the Queen's state funeral bank holiday
Cheshire East Council will continue to operate essential services only during the bank holiday on Monday as a mark of respect and to mark the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
This means, for example, that household bin collections continue as normal -- but the borough's household waste recycling centres, Everybody Health and Leisure facilities and Tatton Park facilities will be closed as a mark of respect.
In line with usual bank holiday arrangements, the council will continue to operate essential services only on Monday 19 September, with the notes/exceptions below:
