Audlem's CCTV camera has scored after a car vandal was caught on film. He was caught and admitted to vandalising several cars.

There had been damage to parked cars in Emberton Place near to Thornton House. A mobile CCTV camera was set up and the identified man was taken for questioning in Nantwich and admitted scratching two cars.

PC Ken Maple is now seeking suggestions as to where the camera should now be placed. The camera was bought by Audlem Parish Council two years ago and can be borrowed by any resident to identify criminal activity and anti-social behaviour.
