CCTV in the Car Park

At Monday's Parish Council meeting, it was stated that the CCTV system which covers the Car Park, playing field and Public Hall area is now fully operational and the Police have been trained in how to retrieve pictures from the system.

Because of Data Protection Laws, Parish Councillors are not able to review the recorded pictures themselves, nor allow any third parties to do so. Any incidents which require investigation should be reported to the Police.

It is believed that one such incident (a car owner who found that their vehicle had been damaged in the car park) has already been reported, although it is not known at this time what the eventual outcome was.
