Cavalcade through Audlem

There could be a fine sight passing through Audlem on Thursday 4th September when the Tour Britannia, a cavalcade of historic cars passes through the village.

This prestigious race tour is for historic cars built before 1976. The 'race' element takes place at a selection of Britain's finest racing circuits, hill climbs and stately homes. There is no racing on public roads and the cars will drive slowly through Audlem.

We are told that the cars will be in the Audlem area between 9.00am and 10.10am and also from 12.30pm to 1.40pm on the 4th September. Further details are available on the Tour's website at www.tourbritannia.com (The website link that was here no longer works)
