Cat found on road to Buerton

Clare Henderson sent the following message to AudlemOnline this afternoon:

Hi, On my way home from work today around 2.30pm a small tabby cat was in the middle of the road and didn't move when I came along in my car. It is obviously not used to being near roads therefore I am worried it could get run over. It was located outside of Beech Tree House on the main road to Buerton.

It was very friendly and let me pick it up . I put it in my car and before i could close the window it jumped out into the maize field opposite Beech Tree House. I am willing to help look for it if somebody has lost it.
