The Carols round the tree

On behalf of ADAS, a huge thank you to all who came to the wonderful event on Monday night.

It was truly the start of Christmas in many ways and the bucket collection was our best ever. Sincere thanks to all who gave a donation.

We share this with the Brass Band and the rest goes to help our costs in making the village look so lovely for the festive season.

And a huge pat on the back to all. Not one scrap of litter was left on the floor after the serving of 150 polystyrene cups of soup and many sweets in wrappers. What a lovely place and lovely people we have here in Audlem.

Happy Christmas and here's to a good 2010 for all.
