The Audlem churches are again organising a service of lessons and carols for the village. This is to be held this coming Sunday evening, 17 December, beginning at 6.30 pm in St James. Traditional readings will be heard and carols sung. All are welcome – come in good time to get a seat!

(The website link that was here no longer works) Next week, in a slightly more informal setting, there will be a carol concert at Audlem Methodist Church. This will feature music by an augmented Church Choir, accompanied by Jenny Collis-Smith and under the direction of Ann Marshall. Additional festive music will be provided by local music trio: Carl Brunsdon, John Gunstone and Val Warner. The concert is performed twice, on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 December at 7.30 pm. Admission is by programme – with some programmes still left for both evenings. Programmes are available from a number of the village shops, or from Norman Mitchell, or from other members of the Choir. The programmes are free, but at each concert there will be a collection for NCH.
