Carnival 2015 frustration

I have requested permission to use our own playing field for the Carnival on the 25th May, our own piece of 'village green'.

The response from Cheshire East is for me to have to print off a 22 page document to apply for such a permit. And to deposit £150 to Cheshire East in case we damage the grass. And to pay a fee of £40 for the privilege of using the playing field.

Sad. So very sad.

Following the conversation yesterday, please find attached this year's Booking form and fees for the Playing fields to stage the Carnival.
Please forward the completed forms, the deposit cheque of £150 can be made payable to "Cheshire East Council" however the Community site fee of £40 must be made payable to "ANSA Environmental Services". You can send these all to my address below.
If you require bins or other services please enter these details on the form. As previously I suggest you secure a deposit from the Fairground provider.
I am aware that the Parish Council are looking at the Asset Transfer for this land however at this stage I am carrying on with the annual process for booking this event. I welcome your reply, Thank you
