Carers' Support Group Developments

From Tuesday, 22nd April the local Carers' Support Group will now be meeting fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday mornings each month on a drop in basis between 10.00am and 12noon in the Lord Combermere (thanks to Alan and Jo for their support).

The Support Group has been successful, with the support of Audlem & Community Action (ADCA), with a bid to Cheshire East Council for Carers' Breaks funding to help maintain and expand the Group's activities.

The new funding of £5,000 will also enable the Carers' Group to arrange quarterly Carers' Breaks days. This first meeting next Tuesday at the new venue will be discussing ideas for future activity and which speakers to invite to future meetings.

So, if you are an unpaid carer for a family member or friend, please do come along to this or future meetings of the Carer's Support Group for advice, support and a coffee and chat.
