Audlem & District Community Action ADCA has been successful in once again obtaining the yearly Carers' Break Grant from Cheshire East Council and the two local NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups.

The sum of £8,927 means that we will be able to continue to run Audlem Carers' Support Group and provide regular information and advice to the over 40 local carers who we are in touch with. We will also be able to continue to organise a range of carers' break days and activities for the rest of the year.

The Carers' Support Group is open to everyone who provides care support to family members, friends or neighbours. It meets at the Lord Combermere between 10am and 12noon on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday each month for coffee, chat and information. The Support Group is open to everyone who provides care support to family members, friends or neighbours. You are most welcome to come along and join us.

We also arrange regular Carers' Break Day including local pamper days in spas, visits to open gardens and the occasional gentle sporting activity!

If you'd like to know more about the Support Group or the Carers' Break Days, please contact Lynn Morear, ADCA's Assistant Coordinator on 07595 919727 or email her on lynnmorear@yahoo.co.uk
