On Saturday the 13th of February we will be holding a Task-Force work party at Audlem, with the plan being to undertake some gardening and planting 15 boxes worth of wild flower seeds donated by the CRT Audlem Volunteers.
The tasks will be working around the immediate village area of the canal. We will be continuing with improving visually and environmentally the area by trimming back the bushes by the services, thinning the vegetation in the embankment between the Mill and the towpath, clearing the brick surfaces in the area around the wharf and further planting in the offside area of Lock 13 making the wild flower garden.
Please let me know if you can attend, I will provide refreshments and snacks (Coffee, soft drinks, biscuits and snacks), suitable outdoor clothing and some lunch is all that's needed.
Meeting point and parking is at the Shroppie Fly, Audlem, CW3 0DX at 10.00am.
See you there,
Dek Owen
