Can anybody give information on the vandals?

Following yesterday's news of at least three acts of vandalism involving smashed windows and other damage at three locations in the village, another resident writes: "We have woken up this morning to find our front garden has been vandalised. Someone in the night has come along and pushed over our beautiful pieces of standing slate and left sweet wrappers. Very sad after all the hard work we have put into making our home and garden lovely."

We haven't used the names of any of the residents affected but today's correspondent signs herself as "One very upset resident of Audlem."

All the incidents reported have been passed to the police. If anybody can give any information that will help the police find the culprit(s), please do so. The people responsible have caused a lot of upset and cost householders a considerable amount of money and time clearing up. One of the houses affected yesterday has two young children who came down early in the morning to find themselves walking through broken glass.
