CALLING ALL GARDENERS!

ADAPT are having a stall at the Fete this coming Sunday and one thing we are hoping to do is to have fruit, vegetables and may be flowers to give away for people to cook and eat, or for flowers, to enjoy.

This is to encourage those who come to the stall who don’t already ‘grow their own’ or ‘buy local’ to consider growing some of this produce themselves in the coming year or buying from local gardeners, when they have any to spare.

So, we are looking for donations of any excess fruit or vegetables you might have, for us to give to any who would like to try something different, or ask about how they might grow any of the items on offer, in the next season.

So, if you can, please bring us anything you have spare from your garden.

Bring it to the ADAPT stall from 10am onwards on this coming Sunday, August 27th. Anything left over at the end, that you do not wish to reclaim, will be given to those in our community who could benefit from some free produce.
