Calendar

As we emerge out of lockdown, village events are being scheduled to start up again in the coming months, and we want to ensure that these events appear on the events tab on the home screen menu, as well as the short list of the next few events on the home screen, below the "latest news" .

We have been preparing a better system for dealing with these events, instead of relying on a mixture of hearsay and our own erratic memories.

So there is a new on-line form on the system, to let event organisers notify us properly of dates for events and the information associated with them. The form is designed to remind organisers of the information that we need to publish, including such things as phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses where more information can be obtained.

This form will not update the calendar directly, but it will give us an organised method of making sure that we do all the calendar entries properly.

So could all organisers of events start to use the new form, please, so that we can start to build the calendar of forthcoming events back up.
