The Band of the Duke of Lancaster's Regiment and the Band of the Lancashire Artillery Volunteers, plus the Cheshire Community School of Samba and the Cheshire Constabulary Band, will provide the musical entertainment. We are talking about music of the highest order with all the traditional Proms numbers as the finale. After the concert, there will be a spectacular fireworks display by the Blitz Fireworks Company.

Bring your own rugs, cushions, folding chairs and picnic tables – candelabra are, of course, optional. You can then picnic in style with thousands of others. Hundreds of flags will be waved as the evening reaches its traditional climax, always an emotional experience.

This is an event where you can invite friends from far and wide to show them what an amazingly vibrant community Audlem is. The gates are open from 3.00pm to set up and the music starts at 6.00pm. The fireworks display will be at 10.30pm.

Over the next few days, Audlem Online will feature some of the famous musical numbers you will hear on this traditional Proms night.
