Burglar leaves a clue

Earlier this year, a 24-year old burglar was arrested in Sussex after carrying out a burglary after heavy snowfall. Ivan Healey was already on bail for another offence when he decided to break into a house at about 2.00am.

He made so much noise as he broke in that he woke up the occupants who chased him out and called the police.

When they arrived, officers saw footprints in the fresh snow leading straight to Healey's house, just three streets away! Yesterday, Healey was sentenced to 29 months in jail.
