Buerton Queen's Jubilee Picnic in the Park

Saturday's Picnic in the Park to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee was a great success!

When it was clear Buerton Parish Council were not organising anything to celebrate the Jubilee, local residents stepped in, and headed by Tricia Haigh, started work creating and distributing leaflets, posters and planning games and other events.

Thanks should be given to those residents involved in running the event -- it wouldn't have happened without their dedication and hard work.
