The following statement has been released by Buerton Parish Council

Buerton Community Playing Field

A proposal has been made to the Parish Council for the use by a third party of a strip of land adjacent to the Old School House. The Parish Council is mindful that it is the custodian of the Buerton Playing Field and would not enter into any material change of use without proper consultation with the whole community.

There is a licence/covenant on the land and after due consideration of the proposal, it cannot find any material benefit for the Parish.

Therefore, the proposal has been rejected.

Please be reassured that the Parish Council takes its role as your representative very seriously and has not and would not seek to do anything that was not transparent to you, our Community.
