Britain in Bloom

This week I received news from the North West section of Britain in Bloom following the judges deliberations.

I met with them in mid-July and spent time showing them all the aspects of our work covering tree planting, bulbs, permanent shrub beds and floral displays. Plus a flavour of all that happens within the wonderful community spirit we have here.

The judges cover the whole of the North West - from Barrow in Furness and right down to Audlem as the most southerly end.

I very pleased to report that they have advised me – once again  - that we have been given an award and I am to drive to Southport in late-October to receive it. 

Another happy tick in the box for Audlem. And I thank all who help us in our effort – especially to the generous responses to our appeal for funds .
