Brine Leas School in Nantwich opened its doors last Tuesday, 26th January, to representatives from Commerce, Industry and both Further and Higher Education for its annual Careers Convention.

This was arranged to enable students from year 9 and above to research and question experts about the opportunities available for post 16 courses and employment. This enhanced knowledge should assist them to make secure choices for their individual programmes of study in the Upper School.

Jo Morrison, who organised the event along with Isabel Cundy, commented, 'We are grateful to all the exhibitors for giving up their valuable time to advise our students. We were all impressed at the questions that were posed by each group (of students). Hearing the information and advice directly from both employers and apprentices will certainly support them when making important options choices and career decisions in the future."
