Brass band festival treat

For any villagers not feeling quite festive enough yet, we recommend wandering down to the square between 11:00 – 12:00pm this morning, Christmas Eve for a performance of festive music given by talented local brass players.

Dave Woollam, local resident and Musical Director for the Band of the Cheshire Constabulary will be joined by former members of the Roberts Bakery Brass Band.

The band which includes five local musicians, will be performing all your favourite Christmas carols in what has become an annual treat for those dashing around the village during the final countdown to the big day.

Although the performance is primarily for the enjoyment of residents and band members, any donations will be passed on to St Luke's Hospice.
