In addition to carols round the tree with Crewe Brass on Wednesday 22nd December there will be lots more music around the village on the run up to Christmas.

On Thursday 23rd December a group of brass players from the Cheshire Police band will once again be visiting Corbrook Court in the evening to play for the residents.

Then at about 7.15pm they will then make their way into the village on foot calling into at the Anwyl estate and other locations playing traditional carols as they go. (They might just end up in one of the local pubs!)

If you hear them playing please come out wave.

We are NOT collecting money but just doing this for fun.

The following morning, Christmas eve, a smaller group will return (as they do every year) to play in the village as people go about their last minute shopping.

If you're in the village centre on Christmas eve morning please do come and say hello. Once again we are not there to collect money.

All that said if anyone does donate (and many do insist) all monies will be given to St Luke's hospice as they always have been.
