Boost to Scout and Guide Hall kitchen fund

We have received the following news from Suzanne Baxter, writing on behalf of Audlem Scout and Guide Hall fundraising committee:

She has asked us to thank everyone who put out their Christmas trees and donations on the weekend of the 5th and 6th of January. Once again there was a tremendous response and the committee were able to raise the sum of £401.

But there is even more good news. She also points out that one of the committee, Annaliese Popovic, works for Barclays Bank, and as part of their support for charities they match funds raised £ for £. This means that, thanks to Barclays Bank, the final sum raised is £802 which is going to help towards providing a new kitchen for the Scout and Guide Hall.

The winner of the champagne draw was Simon Cotter of Audlem.
