Bonfire and Fireworks tonight

Don't forget, it's the fabulous Audlem Bonfire event tonight. ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team, writes: "Audlem Bonfire Night and Firework Display is on Saturday 8th November on Audlem playing field. The Admission charge remains the same as the last two years at £3 (children under 5 free). It all starts at 6.30pm.

"Our new pyrotechnic team promises a truly spectacular display so we would urge everyone to come along and enjoy a wonderful night out in a safe environment. We will also have the usual funfair rides, hog roast, coffee and burger stalls."

Audlem Online adds: Judging by the news on bonfire and firework displays around the area in last week's Chronicle, the Audlem display is excellent value for money. Most organised displays were charging £4 or £5 for adults.

There's also a special Bonfire Night offer at the Bridge Inn. Tonight, 8th November, a Hot Pot Supper with Crusty Bread Roll is available from 5pm onwards for £3.00
