Brine Leas School and the Wrenbury and District Model Railway Club

Brine Leas School take delivery of the 2 modular model railway boards constructed for their club.

Joanne Marler who runs their club accompanied by Eddie Forshaw, a Board Member of the Brine Multi Academy Trust watched a demonstration of how the power supply is connected and the variety of running options on this bespoke layout.

The layout was constructed by Pete Hollinshead, a former Brine Leas pupil. The school club will run these two boards as a stand-alone analogue layout, helping them understand points and loco operations. If the school can arrange a second visit to Wrenbury their two boards will be linked to the village hall layout and the secondary wiring loom will be used as a DCC extension.

The school club continues to receive regular visits to help and advise plus a monthly supply of model railway magazines.
