Preparations for the Spring bulb season are in full swing, thanks to ADAS, the Audlem District Amenities Society.

Yesterday, Ralph Warburton was hard at work planting 1,000 tulip bulbs in the raised border outside the Lord Combermere. It should make for a fabulous display in the Spring.

On Tuesday, the work rate doubles with no less than 2,000 daffodil bulbs being planted on the verge at the entrance to Tollgate Drive. A patch of land has already been marked out for this additional splash of colour as you enter the village from Green Lane in late February and March.
