Billy's lament

Hello or should I say 'Howdy'.

Here's a few pictures of flooding that happened on Monday (24/05/21) here at The Ranch.

Sadly this isn't a one off occurrence, the flood before this one was on the 20th of January 2021. To say I'm getting fed up with it would be an understatement! Thankfully the land owner (who owns the field at the back of my place) let's me go on to his property when the water level drops to retrieve my stuff that has been washed out of my out buildings and down the Brook to very nearly the River Weaver!

This time the water was almost in my house.

Unfortunately, until something is done by the relevant authorities, the water WILL be in my house soon.
