This Saturday there's a gig at Audlem Public Hall, and it's going to be one to remember. For years, Jim Kirkpatrick and his band Heavy Weather have been turning heads in the world of rock and blues. A power trio which never fails to impress, featuring a lead guitarist who is now widely regarded as one of the very best in his field.

  • Date: Sat April 9th (doors 7:30pm)
  • Venue: Audlem Public Hall
  • A bar will be provided

We've always been spoilt in Audlem when it comes to music. The breadth of talent and creativity amazes locals and visitors alike. For me though, Jim & Heavy Weather still stand very much in their own league and the current lineup is by far the best yet.

Climax Blues Band drummer Neil 'Kegsy' McCallum has been the solid backbone of this group since the beginning, but for the last year or so, Chris Cliff has joined on bass. Chris is quite simply world-class, and together with Kegsy the pair create a rhythm section to die for.

Up until now, no quality film exists capturing this band in all their glory. FatPigeonLive want to change that, but they need help from you. This band thrives on the energy of a crowd, so a large buzzing audience is exactly what they need to create an excellent film.

If you're free on Saturday night (9th April), please come down. Not only will you get to be part of the show, and witness a band at the very top of their game, but support will be provided by none other than James McGrath.

James is a talented singer/songwriter who's recent EP recently reached no.1 in the Irish music charts. The combination of heartfelt melodies and thought-provoking lyrics could well turn James into household name.
