Beware Lorry on Saturday Morning

If all goes to plan, on Saturday morning a large lorry will be collecting the things donated to the W.I. Ukrainian Appeal.

The lorry is scheduled to arrive at the Public Hall in Cheshire Street at 6am and hopes to be loaded and away by 7.30am.

Ideally the lorry will park in the Car Park while the boxes are transferred into it from the Public Hall garage, but it may have to park on Cheshire Street itself.

All this is bound to cause some traffic disruption in Cheshire Street and/or the main car park.

The lorry is then taking its load to Uttoxeter from where it will be sent on to Poland.
