Beware fake NHS COVID-19 vaccine scam

This will surely not be the only case of scammers and other criminals trying to take advantage of people's concern about COVID-19 and getting the vaccination.

The Scam

You get a message purporting to be from the NHS, with a link to follow to something like uk-application-form.com.

This is a very convincing looking NHS site which suggests that you are now in line for a vaccination and asks you to complete details.

In the middle of a number of other questions, it asks for bank details "to check identity".

This is a scam, simply designed to get the bank details from you.

So beware – there will be other similar scams no doubt.
