Beware burglaries

At this week's Police Cluster meeting with local parishes, warnings were given about criminals and small groups of burglars targeting rural areas. The police ask that if you see any suspicious activity such as unknown vehicles slowly driving around the village's roads and estates you note the number and call 101.

The police are keen to get information on the amount of activity as well as, of course, apprehending the burglars. They add that the current warm weather, with patio doors and more windows left open, increases the risk of opportunistic thefts and ask people to be aware of the risks.
