We understand that for the second time in ten days, Ralph Warburton had to be taken to A&E.

It turned out to be a suspected gall bladder problem, and will curtail Ralph's usual involvement in village activities for a while.

Ralph has had to arrange cover for the burial on Saturday morning; the cash collection from the charity shop, the Tuesday evening quiz; ADCA commitments, the AFC tour match as well as a host of personal commitments.

Ralph will probably not be fit enough to come to the Party on the Park, but when he recovers, he will no doubt return to his wide-ranging involvement in so many village activities.

We at AudlemOnline would like to pass on our best wishes to Ralph for a speedy recovery.

The photo was taken a few days before this latest farrago when villagers presented Ralph with a very detailed record of what went into his being granted the BEM .
