The best vantage point of the Festival of Transport as it goes through Audlem after leaving the assembly point at Hankelow is usually regarded as the view from the grounds of St James' Church.as the procession weaves its way up Stafford Street to the Square.
So the Church has decided again this year to support the FoT and open the church and its grounds on the morning of the 28th July so that people can enjoy this wonderful sight.
There will only be a service at 8.15am and NOT at 11am.
Instead we will be serving refreshments between 10:30am and 12 noon for people who want to watch the procession from the church grounds. So please come along and enjoy the view and the cakes!
Any donations will go to our urgent repair fund.
