Bell ringing over the Christmas and New Year season

Ruth Kemble, on behalf of the bellringers of St James', has written to Audlem Online to say: "Over the next two weeks there will a lot of ringing for Christmas and the New Year. In addition to the usual Thursday practices and Sunday morning services we will be ringing at the following times:-

Today, the 17th December, at 5.30pm for the Village Carol Service.

Friday 22nd at 7.00pm before the Carols in the Square.

Sunday 24th at 3.30pm for the Crib Service and at 10.45pm for the Midnight Service.

Monday 25th, Chrsitmas Day, at 9.30am for the Family Service.

and Sunday 31st at 11.30pm to ring out the Old Year (half muffled) and immediately after the clock strikes midnight (and the muffles are removed!) to welcome 2007.
